ReplyDelete::: i am having post issues, but i did the same test with the clip and i fan, but the fan did not want to spin. But when i tired running post testing on my mobo and i the cooler fan does spin all lights up. Also i am still stuck at pc not posting. i just wanted to ask about the paper clip and the 1-fan cuz it did not work for me?
Thank you very much for that as i just bought a new atx case and psu and i wasn't sure if the psu worked or not, it does and now i know it's the motherboard! :)

ReplyDeleteSteve, I have a refurb AX1200i that has been fine for a few months. Yesterday I noticed erratic behavior, mouse not working for a moment or two, unable to access the system tray, and then finally the entire system just shut down. No BSOD just shut down. When I looked at the system in the state the light on the PSU that is normally green was red. Hum! Booted again and it would start for a second then pause and restart and almost complete the boot cycle (complete Win10pro load) and then shut down again. Could this be the PSU? Thank for any comments and suggestions.

ReplyDeleteI have a Rosewill 80 Plus Bronze PSU with all black wires. How do I find the "green" wire? I have a manual for the motherboard, so know where all the grounds, etc. pins are located. One pin is PWR OK. Is that the green one?

ReplyDeleteI have Cooler master thunder 450W PSU and GTX 1060 6gb GPU , Ram 8gb, i5 7400, previously i was get above 60 FPS in games but now im getting below 10FPS or sometimes PC get restarted what should be the problem ? and if i did not open game PC works fine

ReplyDeleteI can turn on my computer but I can’t turn it off and if I unplug it and press the power button it won’t turn on. I have to wait like a full two minutes until I can put in the power cable again and then it turns on, also on start up my computer freezes 90% of the time, I’ll be lucky if I can actually get to windows in less than 30 minutes.
