Does Control from Remedy offer the best RTX visuals? And how is the game in general? John played it at E3 and he joins a very excited Alex to take a closer look at the RT implementation.

the graphics look a bit blurred out in my opinion, it's not crisp feel me?
ReplyDeleteeverything is to shiny with ray tracing
ReplyDeleteMinecraft looks better
ReplyDeletelets get to the point ray tracing is good but you cant really use it in games wast of money need more time for this new tec to get better graphics cards to use it even the 2080 ti cant do it you have to turn all the rez down and settings just to play it in 1080p wow wast of money this is why i havent brought the 2080ti i just stick with my 1080ti untill the next new cards come out and see what that can do
ReplyDeletewell the different between rtx on and rtx off is that on rtx on the floor is already mop
ReplyDeleteThe only people complaining about the rtx are the ones who have never tried it, youtube videos pale in comparison to the actual experience itself I'm sorry. This game is a brilliant experience with rtx enabled, try it yourself before you start judging.
ReplyDeletehonestly not worth such a performance loss. it's just mostly shinier things. heck I think it makes the trees worse
ReplyDeleteRay Traced, the next generation of bullshit everyone will disable from Nvidia.
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the manly chin??
ReplyDeleteAt this point you could use game engines to create CGI for movies.
ReplyDeleteIf a $3000 PC can run this at 4k 60fps, just imagine what it could render at 1FPS, which is still hundreds of times better than how much it takes to render CGI used in movies.
It already has lifelike effects, lighting, reflections, and materials in real time, with great looking, high resolution textures, with only a time problem, from time to time you can find pretty low polygon models(top tier in games, not in CGI)
Im.late
ReplyDeleteIs this really one of those Epic exclusives? If so, then that really is a bummer.
ReplyDeleteI hope they have not killed this game with boringly long cutscenes like they did with Quantum Break.
Have to say that i prefer the looks without RTX. With RTX on it looks like everything has been covered in a coat of high gloss clear coat. If this is supposed to sell me on RTX it's doing the exact opposite.
ReplyDeletehow could anyone thumb this down. these guys do an awesome job of analyzing.
ReplyDeleteThe game looks like a tech demo.
ReplyDeleteWhen are you guys going to have a video for the console version of the game?
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't this game have 4k HDR support on xbox one x, but it has ray tracing support for PC. I am confused about why we would get the short end of the stick. I was hoping for a beautiful visual experience, just as much as a gameplay experience.
ReplyDeleteWhen is the frame rate tests on consoles coming?
ReplyDeletei need to know how it fairs on base consoles, either xbox one or ps4. Thanks in advance
ReplyDeleteXbox One X vs PS4 Pro analysis before the game is out please
ReplyDeleteDat blur. Is that 720p on a 1500$ GPU...
ReplyDeleteOh boy i'm having Gta ENB flashbacks where the whole city is flooded just to provide some "Next gen reflections"
ReplyDeleteI purchased Control today and just before going to sleep I fired it up and maxed all settings including Full ray tracing..wow! I’m going to play this all weekend, it looks unreal, not wait, it looks...real
ReplyDeletevery poor geometry detail but at least we have 434324 wet reflecting floors and 21245 shiny pipes.
ReplyDeleteDoesnt look that great to be honest
ReplyDeleteRay Tracing overkill alert!...everything looks too reflective and shiny.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen there is shadow at wall corner in real life. It's weird when I saw it in games every time.
ReplyDeleteJust bought a 2080 super and got a free pre-order code for control. What are the chances it's actually run half way decent with rtx on?
ReplyDeleteSo RTX is unrealistic shiny floors?
ReplyDeleteIf it's on EGS only, the game doesn't exist. Shame on you Remedy.
ReplyDeletertx on 6fps, rtx off 60fps
ReplyDeleteI hope they keep the rtx on/off macro in the game too.
ReplyDeleteShiny floors Wooow
ReplyDeleteI want Metro Exodus style GI that is applied to lots of other light sources. It's amazing how much that one option can make a game look so much more believable. I want a game with Metro Exodus geometry and lighting and with Battlefield V's materials and reflections. Graphics could hardly improve over something like that.
ReplyDeleteI want to know more about the xbox one x version.
ReplyDeleteRay tracing 🤣🤣🤣 marketing gimmick 😂😂😂 keep paying $1500 for the rtx 2080ti🤣🤣🤣
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine a new Half Life game on tech like this!?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to buy this on Steam... Oh wait....🤭
ReplyDeleteI want SKYRIM Ray Traced
ReplyDeleteRTX is a hacky immatation of photorealistic graphics just like all other rasterization hybrid techniques. It just looks lacking especially for the hit to fps. Nothing can substitute real pathtracing. Too much hype, time and money being spent on another cheap lighting trick.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people say cutscenes rob the game. I love the cutscenes in games. To me it icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteSrry, but Quantum Break is 2016
ReplyDeletenvidia shilling channel!
ReplyDeleteRay tracing + Reshade =)
ReplyDeleteLooks fine
ReplyDeleteremedy is what valve is if they kept making games
ReplyDeleteI'd still rather smooth gameplay than add ray tracing takes big bit on fps
ReplyDeleteRTX = ON, FPS - OFF
