Out of 116 Platinum trophies, these are the ones I'm most proud of. We have talked a lot about the rare or the most difficult, but it is true that these are the Platinum that I liked the most. These games offered what I felt was the best balance between various tasks, difficulties and personal preferences for my pleasure. Also, I had absolutely no intention that this thumbnail would be the next Drake meme sign, but at the last minute, I thought, "I did the first one already, and that would make so much sense with it. ". So I think it's fair to say that I came up with my miniature set.

ReplyDeleteI realise that I might ruffle a few feathers here as this is not a Playstation game and therefore doesn't have trophies, but Halo 3 is the game that I am most proud of completing, it had a overall solid list of achievements and was hard to complete even back during the games golden years.

ReplyDeleteI would get the Final Fantasy XV platinum again, it's only one of the 6 that I have. But sitting down and beating that adamantoise hunt was so amazing. I remember crafting tons of poison imbued magic before hand, constantly using the boys abilities.
ReplyDeleteFor me, I don't have any platinum tropies on PSN. I do, however, have one game on xbox 360 to earn the full 1000 Gamerscore: Shadows of the Damned. It's a fantastic game, and I love it so! Seriously, it's good. If you haven't played it, you could knock out the plat in a day or three. It's not particularly difficult.
ReplyDeleteheh, when i went for the dead space platinum i had to steel myself, thou i must say after chapter 4 or was it 5 i didn't even blink at the jump scares, etc anymore, but my god those first few chapters, holy, also i cant decide so imma name a franchise i've platinum'd all games in, (well 2 franchises but still), soulsborne franchise, i.e demons souls, dark souls, dark souls 2, dark souls 2: scholar of the first sin, dark souls 3 & bloodborne, another one is FFX HD Remaster, my first platinum was assassins creed 2, which for some reason was looked down upon as too easy a platinum

ReplyDeleteHonestly I'm not really a console player (this my newest console is ps3), but I love collecting trophies and achievements (long time WoW player). I only own like 4 platinums, all 4 Sly games actually which isn't hard at all.
ReplyDeleteI do have few ps3 platinums I'd like to go back to and get them. Most notable are Assassin's Creed II with 97%, GH Warriors of Rock 72% (platinum not possible, needs multiple people to finish it), Far Cry 3 78% without touching multiplayer and lastly Uncharted 2 85% without touching multiplayer and being like 3-4 chapters away from beating crushing.

ReplyDeleteI’m most proud of platinuming all of the Bioshock games on PS3, back when Bioshock 2 had multiplayer trophies. I cheesed a multiplayer trophy on Mortal Kombat X, but I’m still very proud of the platinum on that one as well.

ReplyDeleteDead space 2 is one of my favourite games of all time. Also must be one of the best gaming sequels ever made. The trophy for beating the game with only saving 3 times is in fact off dead space 2, not Dead space which you shown in your video. I know this for fact because it took me many, many hours to achieve it.

ReplyDeleteI have perfected every Batman Arkham game since that is my favorite game series (except the online portion of origins). Arkham City being my favorite game of all time was incredibly fun to go through and perfect with all the challenges of all the characters.

ReplyDeleteYakuza 6: Been with Yakuza since the ps2 with yakuza 2. I have played yakuza 2, 3, 4, 5 0, and kiwami before I played 6 (have since played kiwami 2 and I actually haven't gotten to fist of the north star and judgment which I have), I have all these games physically besides 5 that didn't get a us physical and 2 which I let a friend borrow and then it was lost. Anyway so knowing all this, yakuza has always been an important series to me, but the stuff like gambling and mahjong have single handedly stopped me from platinuming games I did just about all the rest of the content on including substories, side content like hostess clubs/baseball/etc, etc, but 6 is the one that didn't require you get 100% on all the gamblings and stuff, so I buckled down and did it. A totally enjoyable game besides the rts (which was fun but got grindy to get the platinum), totally glad I did it, wouldn't do it again, it was my respect, love, etc for the series in the form of forcing myself to do something (the rts after a point) that I didn't want to do. Oh and maxing out stats was a chore/grind.
ReplyDeleteApotheon: My first platinum, was kind of grindy but I love greek mythology, the gameplay, bosses, art style, etc. Finding all the god weapons/items was a chore but I am quite fond of the game.
Cut-short Platinums that I enjoyed:
Persona 5, lost my save file when I only had a few more persona to catch in new game plus really, would have been a platinum and I'd have loved it, but sadly with 5 royal coming, might never get it, what an amazing game
Resident Evil 7 (in vr cuz that's the only way I've played it and it's the best way to play it by far): Lost my saves after the initial run on normal with all the collectibles, the speedrun, the madhouse difficulty run, and the run with only 2 item box usages + using only so much healing items (same run). Now I've lost all the content down to the boat in the first normal run, so while I absolutely am going to platinum this, I have to do a few lost runs to even get to the last run which I think will be the madhouse run with all collectibles. I'm hoping to at least have the unlimited ammo and the special pistol before I get to that point, and to do the madhouse run effectively I want to at least have the circular saw or whatever the unlockable is for the speed run. So after my current run (where I have to make sure to get the collectibles), I'll have the speedrun, madhouse run, then the final madhouse run. Honestly the game is amazing and the madhouse run, speedrun, and the double accomplishment run were god tier thrilling and fulfilling.
I just got the platinum for CTR Nitro-Fueled a few days ago. Definitely my most valued platinum!

Nah man, you never got a trophy for only saving 3 times in Dead Space. That was in Dead Space 2. I couldn't earn that one myself, but I'm assuming you didn't either.
