I did the same as you show her and it is work for the first time with me when i using USB but when I use HDD not work also I do the same step that I do when I use USB ( i have 1tb HDD drive full of games when I connect it to ps3 cannot play the game just i can see the cover pictures but nothing more
What happened if you remove the ps3 HDD with games in it and want to play does game on other ps3 super slim.

omg 10mins of this that n next thing to try and explain a 2 mins process, far too much useless info about your set up, your instructions a very confusing for a novice gamer, I could explain the process a helluva lot quicker , and easy step by step instructions and have ALL games working in under 2 mins, pathetic

Im playing games off my HD. Done the fat32 part and got my game installed on there. Then when I look it up in Multiman I boot it up, in the install process thats where I get stuck. It says I've got not enough space. So it still needs that lil bit of space to play it, it seems. And I've got tons of games so I need it to FULLY play off my HD. Is this possible? For eveybody who still cant connect your external HDD to ps3 here is problem you can format Ex hdd to FAT32 but ps3 still cant reconize him coz your EX HDD is in GPT format you need change from GPT TO MBR if you dont do that you ps3 will never reconize your ex hdd you can format him all day in fat32 but withou success. PS3 only support MBR format so. EaseUs is name of program you can change GPT TO MBR.

ReplyDeleteHey! Just wondering is it better having an internal hard drive than an external hard drive? Or is it exactly the same? I don't care physically where it is. Say for instance can we install package files through the main menu and have them install on an external hard drive? Because I've bought a new external one but I'm thinking of getting another to replace the one in there. Basically upgrade it to a bigger one.
