ReplyDeleteMonster Hunter and Pandora's Tower are both Action-Adventures... You should have replaced Pandora's Tower with Arc Rise Phantasia. And instead of Monster Hunter 3 you could pick Opoona. It's weird but really good. Or how about Fragile Dreams?

ReplyDeleteTales os Symphonia has also a great variety of mytologic monster to pact, Cerberus, Dragons, Gorgons, Hydra, Cockatrice, Demon, etc. I think that's the most impressive element of the game

ReplyDeleteAhm news flash, anyone who isn't happy with Xenoblade is perfectly fine. if you want to know what's so special about it... ask Gamestop why they charge $60 in 2017 for a used copy lol.
And those who are complaining about Xenoblade being the best rpg... this video is NOT THAT LIST. learn to read what you're watching goofballs. this is The Best RPG'S For The WII and it's true.

ReplyDeleteI recently borrowed my cousin's Wii because I had some games on the system that I wanted to play like Metroid Other M and the zelda games. I'm a big fan of RPGs and I now realize how much I've been missing out. If it wasn't for these dumb motion controls I hate so much, I would have bought a Wii a long time ago.

what a joke!!! there aren't even 30 good games in general for the Wii, let alone 100. forget 100 rpgs. this list is bullshit! the Wii may have been the best selling console, but it was also gaming's biggest joke. the reason it sold so well is because people love fun little gimmicks. it is currently sitting untouched in more peoples grandparents houses than any other console. that should be its claim to fame. id say that in the future people will look back at the Wii and laugh, but that has already been happening for a few years already. cmon people, there hasn't been 100 great RPGs since the invention of video games. and if there were, the majority would NOT be on this shovelware system. THIS LIST IS A LIE AND A JOKE

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Paper Mario should have been lower than #10 here... like number 12 or 14. The level designs are extremely poor (ie.. in one level all you do is go to the right and get toilet paper for some guy crapping in the bathroom on the moon). The characters are nothing more than some circles together (too cheap/lazy to invest in one of their most important mario revenue streams here).
ReplyDeletePlus... some of the later boss battles are extremely poor and not thought out well either. The 3-d is ok but jumping in 3-d is near impossible and you can't determine depth so miss things/platforms most times. There are only two towns and they are simplistic and boring with nothing to really do in them. OH BY THE WAY... this isnt an RPG anymore with this one- he increases Hit Points as he levels up but that is the only reason they kept the leveling/experience aspect. Nothing else RPG'ish from priors is kept with this one.
Some of the good things with this one.... the first two or three boss fights are PHENOMINAL. The Mega Star intro, music and destroying everything in a level are AWESOME. Being able to FINALLY play Bowser and Peach is WONDERFUL. The Neon in the levels is pretty good.. since I like neon anyways. None of these things make up for all the shortcuts/ crap/ garbage they piled into this one. This one is almost Shovelware.

Oh yes absolutely perfect. Number one slot was done perfectly. Xenoblade Chronicles deserves number one. I spent over 120 hours to 100% the game and that was about 5 months due to school. 10/10 would play through again except Xenoblade Chronicles X is coming soon this year so can't play through the entire game. I'll go for a new game plus speed run I suppose.
