In this video, I cover four things I wish I had known before I moved from the console to the PC. For those of you who don't know, yes, I was playing on a console. I started playing Fortnite on PS4 in December 2020. I played on the console and the controller for about 6 months until I decided to switch to keyboard and mouse. I had always been interested in learning to play keyboard and mouse and I felt that the controller was holding me back. So I went to buy a mouse, a mouse pad and a keyboard and started using these devices on the console. It lasted about a month and a half before I decided to get started and build a PC. After a full year on PC, I have to say it was the best decision of my life. Playing Fortnite on higher images and a higher refresh monitor on PC has made a huge difference. The game is smoother, feels better and I have become a better player overall. I also had the chance to create a YouTube channel that you all support. However, if I could go back there were a few things I would have done differently and I would have liked to know before I changed. These mainly have to do with things like keyboard shortcuts, settings, positioning of my hands and fingers, the way I practiced and the overall journey of transition from console and controller to keyboard and with the mouse on PC. If you are currently making the change yourself or are interested in doing so, this video will definitely help you improve the keyboard and mouse. Hopefully the tips and tricks I share and the progress I show from PC to console will help you!
