ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter how good a game is if the only way to control it is with a shitty unresponsive motion contoller... not so much hidden gems, as especially shiney turds
ReplyDeleteMy favorite hidden gem on the wii has to be Speed Racer! The game has a kickass soundtrack! The controls are really nice, and the graphics looks well done for shovelware standards!
ReplyDeleteAlthough the Wii is a disappointing console for me, there have been a few things I've liked. The first being the early Wii backwards compatibility with GameCube games, this feature I use the most. Soul Calibur Legends is fun, as is surprisingly a lot of shooters like House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return.

ReplyDeleteOpoona!, Klonoa (remake of PS1 gem), Nights into Dreams sequel, Sin & Punishment sequel, Last Story, Trauma Center sequel, Zack & Wiki, Elebits, Chocobo Dungeon, Guardian Heroes, Metal Slug anthology, Kirby anthology, Dewey's Adventure, Kororinpa and sequel, Rebirth Wiiware: Contra, Blaster Master, Castlevania, Star Soldier, Goo world (or something similar named). My favorite non Mario games off top of my head. Edit: Conduit was OK too I believe
