How to change the appearance of RetroArch - XMB - Android, Pi, PC, MAC All systems



In this video, I show you how to easily change the look of RetroArch.
I will show you how to activate the XMB Theme "driver from the GLUI and Rgui menus.

  6. Ozone is the switch style and you can find it in menu settings too and I prefer it I guess because I have used one, I recommend using the menu with a controller (any controller even VR controller and enable switch cancel and ok button for some users

  7. You can turn off Settings<Onscreen Display<Onscreen Overlay<Hide Overlay in Menu for anyone having problems.

    was always wondering about this as sometimes id have the older green looking menu setup with no support for touch and it wasn't very helpful..

  12. Interesting I have seen never Retroarch videos with people using the ols themes. I didn't use Retroarch until after what we have now was implemented so I have never tried the old but wondered why and how some was using the old.

  17. Yeh I'm pretty sure my WiiU uses the old Retroarch. I havn't explored updating it but thought it was just the one that WiiU used but yeh b cool to have the newer one on there if I can.

  18. Is it possible to transfer (in game) saves from retro pi to android? I have a PSX game I've been playing on the Retro Pi and want to add the file to play via ePSXe on my android tablet. I have gone into the PSX folder located the .sav file on the Pi and copied this across to the PC then into the PSX folder on my tablet with the ROM. When I launch ePSXe it launches the game but has no save present?

  21. Thanks ETA at first i thought i was not possible to do this in retropi running on raspberry pi
    However now i switched to XMB the are some black boxes instead of icons in the menus, is there any way to fix that?

  23. if you use s super old or weak PC like an old netbook. DON'T do it. The default xmb waves will grind things to a halt. Like less than 1 fps .
